In the latest example of creativity being used for malicious purposes, YouTuber Essentially homeless makes a toilet PC. Yes, it’s a PC that can handle games like CS:GO and still be a working toilet. The flush works.
And it’s not just a disposable construction. The PC is equipped with a 3060 RTX, courtesy of Micro Center, which also provided all the other components, except of course the toilet. The fan is installed on the lid of the toilet tank. The rest of the PC parts are sequestered in a (barely) enclosed area in the toilet tank, right near the toilet water. The first leak test didn’t go so well, but with enough flex seal, the second test worked.
The water didn’t touch the PC parts and Basically Homeless was able to play an FPS game using the toilet PC. The resistance of this flexible seal over time remains to be seen.
In terms of PC innovation, this toilet-slash-PC hybrid is really, really surprising. Basically Homeless, however, has a history of building PCs into weird household items, like a fridge PC and a toaster PC. What will he think next? What can outperform the PC toilet?
Either way, if you’re looking to build a PC not down your toilet, Micro Center is a great place for deals on parts and pre-builts. The only limitation is that there aren’t stores in every state, and the best deals usually require people to stop by the store and pick up the product.
