- June 4, 12-1 p.m. PT
- June 4, 8-9 p.m. PT
- June 5, 4-5 a.m. PT

Online matches include 1v1 and 2v2 options, and two local players can play online together. The game will also have a Strikers Club online mode which allows up to 20 players to join a club together and play matches online as they work their way up the leaderboard.
Nintendo teased new characters for the game as part of post-launch updates, though it hasn’t been revealed who the new players will be joining Mario, Peach, Bowser, and other citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom. In case you missed the previous gameplay trailer, Mario Strikers: Battle League lets you customize each character with stat-boosting gear that can boost shot power, tackle strength, and other skills.
You can check out GameSpot’s Mario Strikers: Battle League preview for a detailed description of the game, which Steve Watts describes as a version of football that “takes your favorite characters from Mushroom Kingdom and puts them in tactical assault gear to play a friendly game of football.”
