Latest Sims 4 Patch Fixes Incest Bug, Rapid Aging

In keeping with Sims 4 tradition, the new High School Years expansion and its accompanying free update broke many features in both the base game and other expansions. A new patch has now been released which fixes some of the biggest bugs, including one that caused rapid aging and another that made sims want to hang out with their family members.

The infamous incest bug appeared in the game as part of the Wants and Fears system, which was reintroduced from previous Sims titles. An unrelated but similar bug resulting from the High School Years update, which saw adult sims tagging teenagers in inappropriate Social Bunny posts, has also been fixed.

Another major bug resulting from the update saw sims age quickly – sometimes upside down – in games where sims lifespan was set to Long or Short, rather than normal lifespan. by default. The complete list of fixed bugs can be found in the patch notes below.

The Sims 4

• Sims with a short or long lifespan no longer rejuvenate or age significantly when exiting Create a Sim.
• The “Ask to be Girlfriend/Boyfriend” wish now targets the appropriate Sims.
• Adult Sims no longer tag teenagers in Social Bunny flirting posts.
• All available Sims can now be selected to travel even if they are not currently on the current lot.

Become famous

• Sims without fame no longer seem to have it occasionally.

High school years

• Sims can now browse through the I Was A Teenage Trash Artist Clutter Pile.
