Apex Legends Mobile Pythas Error Check Phase Heist Guide

Pythas Error Control – Apex Legends Mobile’s latest Phase Heist event – has finally arrived and brought a slew of new cosmetic items to the popular mobile game. These rewards consist almost entirely of Legendary and Eternal tier cosmetics, so this event is definitely worth checking out, even for players who don’t normally buy high-end cosmetics.

The Pythas Error Control Phase Heist is a special in-store event that rewards players with loot and cosmetics when purchasing Draw Tickets. Raffle tickets unlock a random reward per ticket, and while that concept sounds simple in theory, there’s a lot more to this event than meets the eye. Read on for a closer look at the Pythas Error Control Phase Heist event – including the total cost to get all the rewards and a detailed breakdown of the odds that dictate how likely you are to unlock a specific type of cosmetic.

Unlike previous Phase Heist events, there is no splash screen for the Pythas Error Control Phase Heist. To access the Event Hub, select the “Store” tab at the bottom right of the main lobby screen. This will take you to a store page with an ad for the event, but the ad appears to be broken, as nothing happens when selected.

To access the main event center, select “Emporium” from the vertical list of options on the right side of the screen. This will take you to another one page with an advertisement for Pythas Error Control and other store events, except the links on this screen are working properly. Select the Pythas Error Control Phase Heist ad banner to finally reach the event hub. To preview the event skins, select the small image of Pathfinder and Bloodhound located at the bottom left of the page.

Coordinate tokens and draw bills

On the main event page, you will see a Legend (either Pathfinder or Bloodhound) wearing one of the event skins. To the right of this legend is a list of six prizes you can get by spending Syndicate Gold on a Draw Ticket. Raffle tickets will randomly unlock one of six rewards. The rewards in the Draw Ticket list are as follows:

  • 50 Streams
  • 60 Streams
  • 80 streams
  • 1 Syndicate Pack
  • 3 Mission Cards
  • 1 coordinate chip

Landing on a coordinate chip will quickly play a phasing animation, making you feel like you’ve just walked through the void and landed on the rewards screen. When you unlock a coordinate chip, one of 12 cosmetic rewards will be randomly selected and unlocked. You are guaranteed to get at least one Eternal item on your seventh draw.

Draw tickets can be purchased one at a time, but remember there are only 12 spins available, so it’s best to select the “Draw x6” option if you’re determined to get all the skins of the event, as this will ensure that you unlock a Coordination Chip (and the other 5 Draw Ticket rewards) every round.

But there is a catch: the price of raffle tickets increases with each spin. Below is a list detailing the cost of raffle tickets for each of the 12 rounds of the event. Prices are quoted in Syndicate Gold. 100 Syndicate gold coins equals approximately US$1.

If you buy a raffle ticket per round:

  • Round #1 – 30 SG
  • Tower #2 – 45 SG
  • Tower #3 – 70 SG
  • Tower #4 – 125 SG
  • Tower #5 – 180 SG
  • Tower #6 – 225 SG
  • Tower #7 – 270 SG
  • Tower #8 – 360 SG
  • Tower #9 – 450 SG
  • Tower #10 – 550 SG
  • Tower #11 – 650 SG
  • Tower #12 – 750 SG

If you buy six raffle tickets per round:

  • Round #1 – 180 SG
  • Tower #2 – 270 SG
  • Tower #3 – 420 SG
  • Round #4 – 750 SG
  • Round #5 – 1,080 SG
  • Round #6 – 1,350 SG
  • Tower #7 – 1,620 SG
  • Tower #8 – 2,160 SG
  • Tower #9 – 2,700 SG
  • Round #10 – 3,300 SG
  • Tower #11 – 3,900 SG
  • Tower #12 – 4,500 SG

Remember that the only way to guarantee that you will unlock a cosmetic is to buy six tickets at a time. Doing this for all 12 turns will unlock all cosmetics in the collection and cost you a grand total of 22,230 SG (about $222).

The in-game description of the event refers to it as Golden Geometry, a previous store event that took place in Season 1. The odds listed may be inaccurate or may have changed. Below is a detailed breakdown of the chances of landing on Coordinate Chips and unlocking various cosmetics.

Coordinate token odds

The odds of a single raffle ticket landing on a coordinating chip changes with each spin – another reason why it’s wise to buy raffle tickets in sets of six if you’re keen on getting a specific cosmetic skin . The odds of landing on a coordinate chip each turn are as follows:

  • Round #1: 20%
  • Round #2: 14.77%
  • Round #3: 9.64%
  • Round #4: 6.25%
  • Round #5: 3.85%
  • Round #6: 2.98%
  • Round #7: 1.96%
  • Round #8: 1.96%
  • Round #9: 1.06%
  • Round #10: 1.06%
  • Round #11: 1.06%
  • Lap #12: 1.06%

Cosmetic Reward Ratings

Once you land on a coordinate chip and gain access to the vault, the game will “automatically roll the dice” and unlock one of 12 event cosmetics. • Rare Weapon Skin: 18.57%
  • Rare Legend Skin: 18.57%
  • Epic Banner Drop: 18.57%
  • Legendary Banner Frame: 18.52%

If you’re not quite ready to take the plunge and shell out your precious Syndicate Gold, fear not – the Pythas Error Check Phase Heist will be live until August 23 at 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET, so players still have plenty of time to save up their in-game currency and decide how much to spend on raffle tickets.

But if the Pythas Error Control Skins aren’t your thing, you might want to check out the Neon Rebellion Arsenal Drop instead, but be quick – the event ends August 8th. For more information on Apex Legends Mobile Season 2: Distortion, check out our Seasonal Events Overview.
